Most know WordsWorth from the short run but memorable Lyricist Lounge Show on MTV, to his guest appearances on albums with A Tribe Called Quest and most of the ill fated Rawkus Records roster. Most also know Words as one of most respected (and feared) freestyle and battle rappers.

However, after the Punch & Words project, the public began to question his ability to move from battling and free styling, to making songs.

Mirror Music proves that Words has the capability to do so, and then some. This album has more than just the braggadocios metaphor laden tracks. It is a true look into the life and mind of the artist. With songs such as "Trust", he reveals how he now realizes how poorly he treated women after the birth of his daughter.

In most cases you either get a good flow without much substance to back it up, or an emcee with a good idea, but poor delivery. In tracks such as "Fast Lane", you will be amazed with his style, delivery, and most of all the fact that it still makes sense.

I've listened to this album multiple times, and with every listen I discover something ingenious that I didn't notice with previous listenings. Anyone who thinks Hip-Hop is dead will be pleased to know that it is alive and well with Wordsworth.
