Masta Ace is a legend in game for any real fan of Hip Hop. For some unknown reason, he hasn't received the deserved attention and respect from the 'casual' rap fan.

Every album that Masta Ace released was a certifiable classic; and his current release 'A Long Hot Summer' is no exception.

This is as close to flawless as one can get. This is one of those rare albums that you can listen to from beginning to end without skipping a single track.

His lead off single 'Good Ol' Love' produced by 9th Wonder is a banger; the beat feels as if it were crafted specifically for this one song. The lyrics reveal Ace's frustration with the state of game as well as a retrospective of his career.

Unlike other artists who brag about writing songs in fifteen minutes, you can see Masta Ace spent time and effort in making this album. Every skit and track was put together like a well written book or a perfectly directed movie.

This album gets the rare 7 out of 7!!!
